Vanguard's VEO 2 233CB Carbon Fiber Tripod is super light weight but not light weight on stability. Maximum load is 13 lbs which is 5 times the weight of the tripod. It's rigid Magnesium canopy joins the strong carbon fiber legs tightly yet allows the aluminum center column to swing into the vertical position in less than 15 seconds. Each leg can be locked in any of 3 angles for uneven terrain or spread all 3 legs and lower the center column for low angle shots. Each leg section can be quickly and securely locked in position using Vanguard's Advanced Twist lock system.
