New Canon Rebate or Price Drops — Will Start Tonight!

Some dealers are jumping the gun again and we’re noticing many price fluctuations that indicate that a new Canon rebate (or a pricing change) will be happening tonight.

At this time we’re seeing the following early changes:

There may be others, so please check back in a few hours, or subscribe via the notification button, and we’ll e-mail when more details are known. Also, the last price drop was accompanied by price increases so we’ll be on the lookout for those as well.

UPDATE: The sale started and is called an “Instant Savings” at most dealers. No L-lenses moved in price, but most non-L lenses were discounted (generally around $50).

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Most of those prices were the regular prices before the canon jump up recently. I know I watch the prices.

I know, we watch the prices too. The 10-22,17-55, and 35mm IS are cheaper than they’ve ever been. The rest are back to roughly where they were a few months ago.

Didn’t see a single L-lens move today. They all went up at the beginning of September. Set a notification with a price target and we’ll e-mail you if we see them drop in price.

I was going to buy the 24 2.8 IS a couple days ago, but my gut told me to wait to the end of the month because some new rebates may start. Thank god. Both the 24 & 28 are discounted 🙂

Good call. 🙂 Definitely the best deals in that list are the IS primes.

Do you know if this is good with any refurbs or used lenses?

Looks like it’s just new lenses that are being discounted. Refurbs were on sale last week, but we’ll probably see another refurb sale soon.
