    What time zone?

Most sales start 12:30 AM or 1 AM ET, some times as late as 3 AM ET. Canon’s pretty inconsistent.

Is there a code that you need to enter for the discount? Are the cameras on sale too? Does all refurbished cameras come with a white box and not the original?

No discount code required; some cameras will be 20% off (but likely not the high-end ones), and all refurbished items come with white boxes, not original boxes.

Does the Canon US site ship to Canada? I tried making an account on their website but I did not see any option to enter a Canadian address

      Unfortunately, they do not.

Why does Canon have this sale if most of the L series are out of stock?

They’re still out of stock from the last sale that was two weeks ago. My understanding is these sales are pre-planned months in advance. I think it’s likely they’ll restock during the sale.

The 24-70 f/2.8L II was available for a brief time today. In talking to Canon, they had a handful and they went quick. There are none scheduled for backfill at this time, so they doubt they’ll be any more during this sale.

Yup. We saw it go in-stock at 1 PM, and it lasted about 30 minutes before selling out. Some CPW readers already let us know they got it after our notification e-mail.
