This is the lowest price that we’ve seen for this lens ever, it’s down from its introduction price of $1499. It’s nice to see the price drop, but even at this price it’s barely competitive with the new Sigma Art 24-105mm OS.

Received lens today. MIR is pre-submitted. Lens makes a good impression (in particular for this price) on my 7D and is waiting to be put on the 5D MKIII from BigValueInc which should arrive tomorrow 🙂
