Authorized dealer BuyDig via eBay has the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II for $1899.00 (after a $300 mail-in rebate). This is the cheapest price that we’ve ever seen for this lens!

Finally, this is the double-dip on the 70-200 II that we’ve been waiting for! As with all previous double-dip deals this price is only temporary — we expect it to be sold out by tonight or early tomorrow.
Double-dip deals are ones where the stores discount by the amount of the mail-in rebate (in this case, $300), effectively doubling the value. BuyDig is an authorized dealer and eligible for the $300 rebate. They also had a sale on the 100L Macro last week.
If you’re afraid about the mail-in rebate — we’ve heard from many readers that they received their rebates less than 3 weeks after making the claim.

I didn’t see anything about a rebate on the ebay site.
They are a Canon authorized retailer, you get your receipt from BuyDig, and thus are eligible for the $300 mail-in rebate. In their 100L macro sale last week, they mentioned it in the post title. They seem to have omitted it here.
