The EOS 70D was first available in late August at $1199, and has quickly dropped $250 (in body-only) to end up at $949. Another good option for a simple 70D kit is a EOS 70D + 50mm f/1.8 Kit for $1049 at B&H.

I just bought one and cant wait to get it but the one thing I don’t understand is why no one ever talks about the multi exposure it is able to do????????
Got mine from bestbuys (price match + 18 months financing). Used it today at my son’s basketball game. Ai servo focus was fast and on the money paired with the 70-200 2.8 mkII. Will use the video at his Xmas concert. So far, I have no complaints and I think it compliments my 6d really well.
