Sigma must be under pressure due to the recently announced Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD which was introduced at $1069 (and is shipping starting tomorrow).

No but my co worker has one, wen pairing with D800, IQ improves significantly compared to the D7000. Not sure about canon.
Great price but I didn’t like it with my Canon. Sent it right back. I will stick with my Canon 100-400mm lens.
Good lens with the cameras that handle high ISO well, otherwise it is a sunny day lens with F-8 or above, not quite the sharpness of a Canon 400mm, 5.6.
