The eBay Cyber Monday Deal Frenzy features the Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L IS Kit from 6th Ave via eBay for $1799.00. This is the new lowest-ever price seen for this camera + lens, brand new.

This is a “WG” import model, with built-in WiFi and GPS. The store provides a 1-year store warranty — read our FAQ about imports models for answers to the usual questions about imports, warranty, unauthorized dealers.

Instead of this deal, you should consider paying $50 more (after rebate) and get the fantastic 6D + 24-105mm + PIXMA PRO-10 bundle from either B&H Photo Video or Adorama. The one downside is the $650 mail-in rebate is sizeable; if you don’t want a mail-in rebate and are willing to go with an import model, then this eBay deal is for you.

The difference in price might actually be less than the $50 noted here. I’ve bought a lot of gear from Adorama and if you call them, they will often thrown in other items, such as an extra battery or a camera bag. This is the one store where I’ve found it is better to call than just place the order on line.

Well, the difference in *price* is still $50, even if they give you more free stuff 🙂

The difference in *value* is much greater than $50.

Of course, you can always sell the free stuff (incl. printer) to get a lower price.

LOL. I agree. Your analysis on the rebate is right, too. I just like dealing with a well established company that is a Canon authorized dealer.

Agreed, which is why I mention that deal explicitly in this post.

I pulled the trigger on the 1799 deal as I was too late for BH / Adorama.Unfortunately Adorama went live again after i ordered through 6ave. Could have gotten the printer (which I would have sold) for 50$ more. Anyway. I did receive the Camera and Lens and everything is in a new condition. For sure no warranty cards but I don’t care so much as I will be moving back to Germany next year and US warranty would not really help there. It is a really good deal and the Camera makes a really good impression.
