This lens has been (until recently) very difficult to find. It is almost twice the price of the Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm but features exceptional build quality and a “dust and splash-proof construction”.
Very slow lens…..needs advanced planning to get the shot! A mountain that doesn’t move in the wind will be clear!
My lens just arrived amazing fast. Put it on the 5DMKIII for a few quick test shots and it seemed to work great right out of the box. I’ll give it a better workout when it’s not during “the heat of the day”. Every bird is taking their siesta right now!
