Dorothy Pierini-Rodgers, It’s for crop bodies only, but you could always sell this with your camera later. It’s not a bad price for a lens. Maybe look into this and see if it’s worth it for what you want.

No. As this lens doesn’t have a removable lens hood, your view is obstructed by the lens hood. Your photo appears to be taken from the 8mm f/3.5 HD version of this lens. Here’s what this lens looks like on a full-frame (unless you modify it.)
if we remove the hood from the lens as done in the Youtube video you have linked, it is going to work with FF camera, but I am little afraid to mend the lens with such hardware tools :P, The awesomeness of the field of view as shown in the video is worthy enough to do that. just my two cents.
Your right. Mine has the removable lens hood.
I figured all the newer versions would now come with a removable hood.
I had it. Good for landscapes for the money but don’t expect too much. Used it on my Sony a6000.
Is this one manual focus?
Yes. Not hard to focus at 8mm.
As long as everything is more that 3 feet away it will
All be in focus. It’s just the nature of the fisheye.

Just depends on your price range. If you can do the 2.8, I recommend making that happen instead.
