Hot, Today Only: Lexar 1000x UHS-II SD 128GB $53, 64GB $30

Amazon has a one-day sale on high-speed Lexar SD cards. They have the Lexar 128GB Professional 1000x UHS-II/U3 SDXC for $52.99, and the Lexar 64GB Professional 1000x UHS-II/U3 SDXC for $29.99.

This price is an Amazon lightning deal for today only (or until sold out.)

These are UHS-II Speed Class 3 cards rated minimum 30MB/s write and up to 150MB/s read. Note that all Canon cameras at this time don’t support the UHS-II interface, but this card is backwards compatible and will operate as a fast UHS-I card. This is fantastic pricing for a fast card that is future-proof for later camera offerings.

Hmm… Amazon says that the regular price is 104$, isn’t the exact same card as here, on b&h for 39 regular price? I get it that 30$ is still better than 39 but in this situation the truth is that you can get it 25% off, not 75%… :/

Amazon’s “list price” is inflated and always should be ignored. We don’t quote it for that reason. However, $10 off a memory card is definitely a good deal.

Yes, it works in a 5D Mark III. It does not utilize the faster UHS II standard, but it is backwards compatible and will work just fine.

Sweet. Thanks CPW! I just picked up the 128 GB version to match up with my 128 GB CF card in my Canon 5DsR.

Careful, if you are after speed writing to both cards at the same slow down the write speed for both.

I’m no fan of Lexar cards. Love their readers though.
