Odd that it actually costs $1 to order the 5DIV 24-105 Kit than it is to buy them separate. The retail box alone will have a $20-$30 value.

I’m a failure… I fell asleep at 10pm 🙁 It’s the byproduct of waking at 4am everyday for work so didn’t get my pre-order in till then. I’ll have other means of getting one… eventually…. Kinda thinking the 1dx2 isn’t much more.

  21. August 25, 2016 at 5:21 pm EDT

I can’t believe all the haters. This camera sounds as ground breaking as the 5D3 to me. Go run to Nikon, I will buy your used L glass for a cheap price!

    1. August 25, 2016 at 10:39 pm EDT

Then you haven’t been keeping up on camera tech.

    2. August 25, 2016 at 10:49 pm EDT

Dude…. Groundbreaking my butt. The D810 still dominates it and that’s like 3 y.o technology! I’m keepiny my Mark3 because this release was a total bummer for people wanting to upgrade. 1.7 crop also!

I’ll wait it out until Christmas when a grey market dealer will be selling it for $2500. Early adopters get killed on new releases from Canon.

I remember within 6 months of the 5DIII release BigValue Inc grey marketed for $2499. History does repeat itself early adopter 🙂

  26. August 25, 2016 at 7:46 pm EDT

Try a Fujifilm X pro one or two that easily handles lenses from other manufactures too!

    1. August 25, 2016 at 10:57 pm EDT

I’m not a fan of their kite light non capabilities – and the lower detail to fake clean images at high ISO.

    2. August 26, 2016 at 10:40 am EDT

My young friend that’s simply not true the high ISO performance is outstanding and is a super capable camera,it’s easy to
Get stuck on SLRs I did too!!
