When Canon introduced the EOS-1D X Mark II they created a “pre-order special” which included a free 64GB SanDisk CFast 2.0 card and a CFast card reader. The price of this “premium kit” was the same as the body-only price of $5999 (due to a $300 instant rebate on the premium kit.)
We’ve now been told that this instant rebate is expiring on Saturday. That is, after Saturday, the price on the EOS-1D X Mark II Premium Kit will be increasing by $300. There will be a corresponding increase in our street price.
