The 6D + printer combo at $1149 is a better deal than the 6D + 24-104mm… The 24-105mm f/4 is not a very sharp lens. In fact, the 24-70mm f/4 is sharper, thus the 24-105mm f/4 isn’t worth $600. For $600, you can probably get 2 prime lenses with much sharper images.

Thoughts on this vs the street price of $1760? Anyone know how long it takes to get the rebate? Any chance of selling the printer for a little cushion? I have no desire to have the printer, but seems like this/ the street price is as good as the price is getting on 6D + kit lens. I’ve passed up a few other deals but just want to have a camera back already!

Same here. Unfortunately, resale prices for this printer seem quite low. Add to that the roughly 50-pound shipping weight for any possible out-of-town sale.

The key is not to resale the entire printer. You can resale the print head + the inks, and net about ~$120. No extreme shipping required.

Recommendations for trying to sell the printer parts? I live in a small town, would never sell local.

          eBay or Amazon Marketplace.

A quick scan of eBay shows that the print heads have been selling for about $70, and the ink sets have been selling for about $90-$100. Less shipping and seller fees you’ll probably net about $120-$130.
