Contemporary 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM for Canon Lens

Pricing on the Sigma Contemporary 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM has been announced: the lens will be introduced at $799.00. It is now available to pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

This looks to be a fantastic price point for this lens. Although the lens is slightly slower than the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II, this will be a great option for many at less than half the price. Assuming the quality of the optics matches their previous offerings (including the Sigma 150-600mm) this lens looks to deliver tremendous value for the price.

Availability is expected at the end of May.
