Me too man. Biggest problem is that I want the Canon version but 1600 plus tax is out of my budget. It’s a better lens for my business and needs but god damn, $850 plus tax is so tempting. I may be able to overlook the non IS, poor weather sealing and heavy as hell body for 45% less.
Lord, just bought the Sony 1.8 for about $445. Not sure if it’s worth $400 more, but would love to pair for 35 ART for Canon.
