Hot: Sigma Art 35mm $599, Art 50mm $779, Free Dock + UV Filter

Sigma USA started their holiday rebates and are featuring price drops on the Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM and Art 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM — a $250 and $120 discount, respectively.

B&H Photo Video is sweetening the deal and taking an additional $50 off (use coupon code “YOUGO2BH”), and also including valuable free items: a Sigma USB dock, a UV filter, and a lens cleaning kit. The Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM is only $599.00 and the Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM is $779.00!

If B&H collects tax to your state, either consider their Payboo credit card (get the tax back), or Adorama (though it is $50 more and without the free filter).

It’s also discounted to $1079 ($1020 with coupon at B&H). This is a good price, but not a stellar deal like the other two lenses.

Would you recommend this lens? I would like to to know how good it is mechanically?

I personally really enjoy both of these lenses. The build is very nice. The Sigma 35mm Art has been significantly more popular than the Canon 35mm II, I think it delivers a very similar performance at an amazing price point.

Absolutely love both these lenses. I remember getting that 35mm with the UV and the USB dock for 600 a few months back. Never use the UV though.
