Amazon Showing RF 100-500mm In-Stock, But At $645 Over MAP

A sign of the craziness in Canon supply and demand: Amazon is showing stock of the elusive RF 100-500mm F4-7.1L IS USM. Catch is, it’s priced at $645 over MAP price — it can be yours for $3443.97 (vs. $2799 MAP). Surprisingly, this is Amazon proper (sold and shipped by Amazon), not a third party.

You can price over MAP. You can’t price over MSRP.

Now they have the RF 70-200 f/2.8L in stock…

For just $4,400. Again, shipped & sold by Amazon.

    This is nuts.

Oh, my previous message, I didn’t see that the price gouging has commenced. The 100-500 is still in stock, but is now $4,400 the same price as the 70-200.
