Canon USA quietly increased the price of the EOS R5C by $300, from $4499.00 to $4799.00, as seen at authorized dealers such as Adorama, B&H, or the Canon Direct Store.

Japanese yen is at its weakest in the last 25 years. If anything, the price should have decreased. However, I understand the issue is more complex; it probably has more to do with supply chain issues and increased manufacturing cost as a result. Bummers.
Glad I bought this without Tax and right before the price hike.
