Canon has announced the RF-S 3.9mm f/3.5 STM Dual Fisheye — this lens is designed for the EOS R7 and is a full-frame equivalent of 6.2mm. The lens allows you to capture stereoscopic 3D 180° VR imagery with a 144° field of view to a single image sensor, and make recordings up to 4K 30 fps (with the EOS R7). It’s available to preorder for $1099.00 at B&H and the Canon Store.

The stereo picture example on retail sites (of the two dogs) is really cool! Stereo isn’t for everyone, but its nice that there is a lens that can do this on modern equipment.
