Canon announced the smallest and lightest RF zoom lens yet, the RF 16-28mm f/2.8 IS STM. This lens provides 5.5 stops of image stabilization without IBIS and up to 8 stops with IBIS. Canon claims an “L-series equivalent quality” and waterproofing in this compact lens which only weighs one pound. It’s available for pre-order at a price of $1149.00 at dealers such as B&H and the Canon Store, and will begin shipping on February 11th.
